When Books2Door contacted me about reviewing their service, it didn’t take long for me to take them up on their offer. I was given a £30 voucher code and free-reign on what I ordered.
Books2Door have been selling kids books at affordable prices since 2004. I hadn’t heard of them before, but their Trustpilot rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on over 5,350 reviews gave me confidence that this company provides a great service.
The Books2Door website is bright, bold and very easy to navigate. There are big graphics highlighting the popular books, but it’s easy to browse or find the books you’re after.
Books2Door provide a large range of books for children, from baby to young adult. The young adult books are suitable reading material for adults too, with authors such as Ann Cleeves, Peter May, Ben Aaronovitch and Terry Pratchett to name but a few. They also have plenty of sets available, so you can buy a trilogy or whole series at once if you like.
I decided to choose my books based on the fact that we’re currently in lockdown and who knows when that will end. I wanted books to keep me entertained and inspired for the duration.
The first book I chose was Rangoli: Stress-Relieving, Art Therapy, Adult Colouring Book. At £3 I thought it was a bargain, plus with all the awful news at the moment, I thought it would be relaxing and therapeutic.
My second choice was a set of three books by Matt Haig: The Humans, The Radleys and Reasons To Stay Alive. I thought that last book title was perfect considering that’s what everyone’s trying to do at this very moment… stay alive! £12.99 for the set, so not bad at £4.33 per book.
My final choice was the most expensive of my choices (£14.99), but I love a good hardback book. I chose National Geographic Journeys of a Lifetime: 500 of the World’s Greatest Trips because after having to stay at home for months and months, I’m going to need some travel inspiration for when we are free!
Ordering from Books2Door was simple and trouble-free. My order was dispatched the next day and arrived two days later. Delivery is free for orders over £30 or £2.49 for standard delivery (3-5 working days) if your order is under £30.
All in all, I was very pleased with the service Books2Door provides. There are plenty of books to choose from and my order arrived swiftly and well packaged. I’ll certainly be ordering from them again!

Please note: Books2Door supplied a £30 voucher code in return for an honest review, but this has in no way influenced my opinion.
